A 15 minute drive to gets you to the Hard Rock Casino.

 

Our newly renovated cozy cottage is setup to be your home base for all Rockford has to offer. The home features two bedrooms and one bath on the main floor, as well as an open living and dining room area and central kitchen. The lower level provides a padded play area and laundry room.

 

Bedroom #1 has a queen bed, wall mounted tv, and closet with a dresser.

 

Bedroom #2 has a twin over twin bunk bed, wall mounted tv, and dresser.

Garage Access: The home does come with an attached one car garage off the alley. Please note that the driveway to the left of the home in not our property. Garage access is off of the alley.

 

Yard: Please note that this home has limited yard space. A small side yard can be utilized, and Highland Park and Playground is located 8 blocks away.

 

Basement: This area is partially finished. Half of the basement is the unfished laundry and storage area; the finished half has padded play flooring and kid's toys available.

 

Guests will have access to the entire single family home.

 

Your hosts are local and able to assist with any issues or needs during your stay.

 

Quiet North Highland neighborhood located East of the Rock River near Sinnissippi Park and Golf Course. Great family neighborhood with lots of sidewalks and parks/playgrounds nearby.

 

Street parking is widely available as well as the attached garage parking located off of the alley.

Hallie's house helped us during the move. The place was nice and cozy. Everything was ready to use. The kitchen equipment exceeded my expectations; you could do even some baking there. It's a nice little place to stay for a very reasonable price.

Hallie was super responsive and extremely flexible for our stay. The place was incredibly organized and super comfortable. I was in town for the Ironman and always have issues with sleep when I stay in new places, but this place had an incredible bed, great linen and A/Cs in every room to make sure it was nice and cool. Don’t even get me started on the incredible water pressure in the shower!. Not sure when I’d ever be in Rockford again, but if I am, I know exactly where I’d want to stay!

Second time staying here it was great. The value for the space is fantastic. neighborhood is relatively quiet and very convenient to everything. garage and off street parking depending on the size of your vehicle. Owners are very responsive. I always check availability on this property when I travel.

The place was located in a nice neighborhood, kitchen was well stocked with cookware, living area, bathroom and rooms were clean. The bathroom was definitely a tight space but fully functional. The only reason I don’t give this listing a 5/5 is because of our experience trying to get in the house. I was traveling with both my parents and my toddler at the time, and everyone was very tired from traveling. The host did acknowledged it was an error on their part, but we didn’t receive instructions on the access code and had to contact Airbnb support to get a hold of host since it was at night. Once we got in touch with them, they offered to fully refund the stay and the hotel fees we had to pay and were very apologetic. We did receive a partial refund and overall had a pleasant stay after the check-in mishap. I’m sure this was a one-time issue and will not happen in the future.

We were in town for a softball tournament and this location was perfect! Traveled with twin 1 year olds, a 4 year old, and a teen - Hallie had everything we needed to make the short trip away from home comfortable. We brought extension cords for phone/ipad chargers because most places never have enough outlets but the home had more than enough & were easily accessible which I thought was super thoughtful. Hallie gave clear instructions for check in & check out. If we find ourselves in the area for another tournament, we’d definitely stay again!

We had a great time here! Tiny bathroom but everything was clean. The shower was insanely hard to figure out - we think the hot vs cold handles were on backwards? It was impossible to deal with. Also the clocks on the appliances weren’t set so that was kind of annoying. We also couldn’t find dish towels so we ended up wasting a ton of paper towels which I didn’t love. Not very eco friendly. The exterior could use a facelift. The inside was so clean and new and cute and the outside didn’t reflect the same aesthetic. Overall a good stay!

This house was perfect for our trip! It had a fully stocked kitchen with all the essentials. Air conditioning in every bedroom and living room which they turned on before we even got there. That was awesome because it was 90 degrees and humid the day we arrived. Beds were very comfortable. It was very homey. Would definitely go back and recommend to others!

Check in was very conventional. The house was very clean and cool when we got there. Bathroom is slightly small but very manageable. Had one issue Saturday night as a big storm rolled thru. We were told we would be refunded for that night due to the issues but never received it which was disappointing. Overall, it meet our needs besides the leak, fair price for the house in a safe, peaceful area.

Beautiful home in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood within in walking distance to a park and short drive to restaurants and major stores. Had most basic needs to cook and be comfortable. The only two things we didn’t like was the lower level was not very small child friendly as we thought due to the floor registers falling apart and our son could easily mess with the pieces so we just kept him upstairs. Also the bathroom is much smaller than it looks in the pictures so my 6’4” husband definitely wasn’t a fan, even still we both agreed we’d definitely stay here again when we’re in the area!

Hallie’s place was very accommodating, as it was enough space for 4 girls getting together. It was nice to bring food and be able to have the comforts of home. The bathroom was quite small, and we were unable to use the garage as it did not fit our cars. The beds were comfortable, water was always hot, and the kitchen was accommodating. A lot of foot traffic around the home, however mostly people walking their dogs which did give a sense of reassurance of a safe neighborhood.

The location was fantastic, just minutes away from downtown and the BMO conference center, and the place itself was spotless. While the bathroom was a tad small, it was impeccably clean and supplied with plenty of towels. We did notice a few basic amenities missing, like shampoo and body soap, but the hostess assured us they'd take our feedback into consideration for future improvements. Overall, the place met our needs and the hostess was friendly and very responsive. Would stay there again.
